Julie K. Timins

Julie K. Timins, M.D., F.A.C.R., practices Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, New Jersey. She is a Past President of the Radiological Society of New Jersey, and was presented the Society’s Gold Medal Award in 2007. Dr. Timins is active in the American College of Radiology, including service on the Council Steering Committee, and is Chair of the New Jersey Commission on Radiation Protection. She is also a member of the National Mammography Quality Assurance Advisory Committee of the Food and Drug Administration, the New Jersey Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners, and the New Jersey Interagency Council on Osteoporosis. Additionally, she has served as Executive Committee member and Treasurer of the American Association for Women Radiologists, which presented her the Professional Leadership Award for Mid Career/Senior Faculty in 1999 and the President’s Award in 2006.
